May 27 (UPI) — Married film stars Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor have split up after nearly two decades.
“With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate,” the pair said in a joint statement Friday. “Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends. We kindly ask that the media respect our privacy at this time.”
Stiller, 51, and Taylor, 45, met while filming the unaired TV pilot “Heat Vision and Jack,” and later appeared together on screen in “Zoolander” and its sequel “Zoolander 2,” “Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story,” “Tropic Thunder” and “Arrested Development.” They have a 15-year-old daughter and 11-year-old son.
