Feb. 2 (UPI) — Reese Witherspoon enlisted her lookalike daughter for her company’s new ad campaign.
The 41-year-old actress stars with 18-year-old Ava Philippe in promos for the Draper James spring collection.
Witherspoon, who founded the lifestyle brand in 2015, debuted the new collection Thursday. She celebrated the launch by sharing photos of herself and Ava from the campaign on Instagram.
“What better way to celebrate @DraperJames new #Spring arrivals than with my one and only, @AvaPhillippe! She is cutting her own creative path in the world and I could not be prouder of her,” the mom-of-three gushed.
Witherspoon shares Ava and 14-year-old son Deacon with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, from whom she split in 2006. She and Ava discussed their relationship in an interview on the Draper James website.
“There is nothing like the love I have for my daughter. We share every emotion with each other, our hopes and dreams… We can talk for hours!” the star said.
“I love being around my mom, and this shoot was an opportunity to have fun and support her work as a female entrepreneur,” Ava added.
Witherspoon is also parent to 5-year-old son Tennessee with husband James Toth. She said in an interview with Lorraine in September that she “would never change” her decision to marry Phillippe and have children in her 20s.
“I got married when I was 23 and I had two kids by the time I was 27,” the actress confirmed. “I don’t know, sometimes it’s good to know yourself [first]. I would never change anything.”
