SANDY, Utah, March 24, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A 15-year-old boy is in critical condition Saturday night after falling from the parking garage at Jordan Commons.
Sandy Police Sgt. Jason Nielsen said the 911 call came in at about 6:25 p.m.
The boy had fallen from the “top parking structure area, a distance of about 25 feet.”
He was transported in critical condition to a local hospital.
Nielsen said the boy was with family in the parking garage, and officials consider the incident to be an accident.
“We don’t believe there’s anything suspicious about this,” Nielsen said.
No further details were immediately available, as officials were still talking with the family later Saturday evening.
