HOLLADAY, Utah, Dec. 15, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) —
Chris Atkin, a spokesman for Unified Fire, said crews responded at 11 a.m. and quickly extinguished smoke and flames on a second story balcony.
Officials said four to six residents were displaced and the Red Cross and other agencies will be assisting them. Approximately four patients were treated on-scene for smoke minor inhalation, but none were transported to hospital.
Investigators will now work to establish where and how the fire started and how much damage was caused.
“Crews did a good job stopping the spread of the fire and not letting it get into apartments,” said Atkin.
We will have more on this developing story as it becomes available.
