BOUNTIFUL, Utah, Aug. 18, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Fire crews extinguished a deck fire and kept it from spreading to the interior of a south Bountiful home Sunday morning.
Firefighters were called to the home, where residents awoke to the smell of smoke, the South Davis Metro Fire Service Area stated on social media.
“Firefighters found a working fire on multiple levels of an exterior deck. Excellent work by crews to extinguish and prevent extension to the interior,” the post says.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
