BEAVER, Utah, Nov. 30, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Thirteen people were displaced by an overnight fire in Beaver Friday.
Investigators say the blaze at 75 S. Main St. likely began in an attic area and was largely fueled by sawdust, which was sometimes used as insulation in the construction of older buildings.
At least 6 units were destroyed in the fire which investigators believe was electrical in nature.
There were no reports of injuries.
The fire burned throughout the night and early morning.
Crews were still on scene at 11 a.m. mopping up hot spots.
