WASHINGTON COUNTY,  Utah, Aug. 28, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Four people were injured in a one-vehicle rollover at Snow Canyon State Park.

Despite ending up with an SUV on its side far from the roadway, officials said, seat belts kept injuries minor. The incident was dispatched early Tuesday morning, with Santa Clara-Ivins Fire & Rescue responding to the scene at the state park near the Lava Tube parking lot.

“Crews arrived to find four occupants of the vehicle with minor injuries and denying medical services,” the agency said in a post online.

“Seat belts played an important role in reducing the risk of serious injuries.”

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the accident.
