BLUFFDALE, Utah, April 6, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing Bluffdale teen after her family received a phone call deemed suspicious.
Mia George, 15, was last seen Thursday morning when her family dropped her near a TRAX station so she could take the train to visit another family member in Salt Lake City. She was seen on UTA surveillance at about 8:15 a.m.
A news release from the Bluffdale Police Department says George never arrived at her stated destination.
The teen has now been gone and out of contact for two days, but Bluffdale police say the family did get a phone call stating: “Mia is fine and with someone who makes her happy.”
George weighs about 110 pounds, and has hazel eyes and brown hair tinted slightly with purple dye that has faded.
When last seen, she was a wearing a black hoodie, gray camouflage pants, black and white Vans shoes and a nose ring.
