SANDY, Utah, Nov. 20, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Police have identified the body of a man found Monday morning in a yard in Sandy.
The victim is Michael Hoffman, Jr., 44, from Salt Lake City.
Detectives were called to the scene, in the yard of 1330 E. 8580 South, just after midnight on Monday morning. The call was regarding a man down.
Officers discovered Hoffman deceased. There were no signs of trauma to the body, according to Sgt. Jason Nielsen, Sandy Police Department, but the case is being investigated as a homicide, he said.
Detectives would like to talk to people who may know Hoffman or have information regarding this investigation. They are asked to call the Sandy Police Department at 801-799-3000.
