SPANISH FORK, Utah, July 20, 2020 (Gephardt Daily) — Southbound Interstate 15 is closed in the Spanish Fork area after a crash Monday morning.
A tweet from UDOT Traffic at 10:30 a.m. said: “Driver Alert: SB I-15 is closed at mile post 253 (Spanish Fork) due to a crash.”
Traffic is being diverted off the freeway at 8000 South.
The tweet said drivers should expect major delays in that area.
Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Nick Street told Gephardt Daily the crash is between a wrong-way driver and a semi, and one person has been transported by Life Flight to an area hospital.
