MIDVALE, Utah, July 3, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — A SWAT operation is underway in Midvale Wednesday afternoon in an attempt to capture a federal fugitive.
“UPD is assisting the US Marshal’s on an apprehension of a Federal Fugitive in Midvale,” a Unified Police social media statement says.
“At this time we are assisting and not releasing further.”
Resources on scene include armored vehicles from the Utah Department of Public Safety and West Valley City Police. Law enforcement officers are heavily armed.
