SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, May 7, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — A Utah County man has been indicted after allegedly supplying fentanyl on Christmas Eve that left a woman dead last Christmas morning.
Jared Kory Titcomb, 28, of Spanish Fork allegedly sold the woman fentanyl before she died of an overdose and was found to have fentanyl in her system. The woman was discovered by a family member on Christmas morning.
Titcomb is charged with distribution of fentanyl resulting in death, say a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Utah. His initial court appearance was Tuesday at the United States District Courthouse in downtown Salt Lake City.
U.S. Attorney, Trina A. Higgins, of the District of Utah made the announcement. The case is being investigated by the Spanish Fork Police Department and the Utah County Major Crimes Task Force.
Special Assistant United States Attorney Peter Reichman of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Utah is prosecuting the case.
