HONEYVILLE, Utah, May 9, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — Traffic is delayed Interstate 15 in Box Elder County Sunday after a semi rollover near Honeyville.
Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Chris Bishop told Gephardt Daily the semi crossed traffic lanes, although he was unsure if the truck went from northbound to southbound, or the reverse.
“It was near Honeyville, on mile marker 371,” Bishop said. “The semi rolled, and the driver was airlifted with critical injuries.”
Bishop said factors contributing to the rollover are not yet known. As of 11:45 a.m., the delay was the cleanup required to remove the disabled vehicle.
The UDOT traffic site said estimated clearance time for the wreck was 1 p.m.
