SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Nov. 4, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are investigating after a body was found Friday morning near the Gallivan Center.
Salt Lake City Police Department Detective Richard Chipping said an officer discovered the body at approximately 11:15 a.m. in the area of 235 S. Main St.
Chipping said it appears the man was a transient and may have died of an overdose.
Investigators are working to determine the official cause of death, but Chipping said nothing about the incident appears to be suspicious.
