Jan. 30 (UPI) — The stars of the female-powered, NASA-themed movie “Hidden Figures” earned the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Ensemble in a Film in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
The cast includes Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monae, Jim Parsons, Kirsten Dunst and Kevin Costner.
Denzel Washington was named Best Actor for his work in “Fences,” while his co-star Viola Davis was honored as Best Supporting Actress.
Emma Stone took home the prize for Best Actress for her performance in “La La Land” and Mahershala Ali picked up the SAG Award for Best Supporting Actor for his work in “Moonlight.”
