LOS ANGELES, Sept. 22 (UPI) — Kaley Cuoco says husband Ryan Sweeting and ex-boyfriend Johnny Galecki get along just fine.
Cuoco, 29, discussed the 28-year-old tennis player’s relationship with her ex, 40-year-old actor Johnny Galecki, during an appearance Sunday on Watch What Happens Live. Cuoco and Galecki dated from 2008 to 2010, and continue to co-star on The Big Bang Theory.
“We dated like, five years ago, so I think we’ve both moved on,” she shared. “Johnny’s actually one of my best friends. It’s a situation that ended well, I understand sometimes it doesn’t … Ryan loves him, Johnny loves him. It’s been a long time, so it’s great. I got lucky. It could have been horrible.”
Cuoco and Sweeting married in December 2013 with Galecki present at their wedding. The actor earned laughs at the People’s Choice Awards in January when he stepped in to thank Sweeting after Cuoco forgot to do so in her earlier acceptance speech.
The actress and Galecki have portrayed Penny and Leonard on The Big Bang Theorysince the CBS show debuted in 2007. The characters finally married on the season 9 premiere Monday, which fell short of viewer and critic expectations.
