SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, June 10, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Conservative political commentator Tucker Carlson is taking his show on the road, with a tour stop Sept. 7 at the Delta Center.

Carlson is best known for hosting Tucker Carlson Tonight on Fox News from 2016 to 2023, when he was fired for reasons undisclosed by the network.

Carlson is a strong supporter of former President Donald Trump, and in February of this year interviewed Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, the first western journalist to do so since the former KGB chief ordered a “special military operation” designed to conquer Ukraine. The interview was scorned by western critics for being soft on Putin, yet it was widely praised by members of the Kremlin’s state-controlled media.

At home, Carlson boasts a large, ultra-conservative fanbase, demonstrated by his 12.9 million followers on X, formerly known as Twitter. He hosts the weekly podcast The Tucker Carlson Show, and has authored two books, “Ship of Fools” and “The Long Slide.”

Carlson will be joined for the Salt Lake City appearance by former right-wing radio host Glenn Beck, and is expected to talk about the latest election developments and news headlines.

Tickets for the Salt Lake City show go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday, June 14, through this link (not active before Friday).
