
SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah, Jan. 16, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Eastbound Interstate 80 has reopened after a semi trailer fire in Summit County on Wednesday morning.
Utah Highway Patrol tweeted at 7:30 a.m. that troopers were responding to the fire, with no hazmat involved, underneath the U.S. 40 fly-over structure.
The left lane of I-80 eastbound below U.S. 40 was reopened by 8:30 a.m. and all lanes of eastbound I-80 reopened by 10:30 a.m.
There were no injuries as a result of the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
