WEST JORDAN, Utah, Nov. 26, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) ─ A man who stopped to help a stranded motorist got quite the payback: the woman stole his car.
West Jordan Police Sgt. Dan Roberts said the victim stopped to help a woman who appeared to be having car troubles, and he offered her a ride.
While the victim was pulled over at the intersection of 9000 South 3200 West to retrieve something from his car trunk, the female suspect got into the driver’s side and took off.
The stolen vehicle is a 2013 white Volkswagen Passat with license plate X307RE.
Anyone with information about the suspect or the whereabouts of the vehicle is asked to call West Jordan Police at 801-840-4000.
