HURRICANE, Utah, July 2, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews from Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue responded Tuesday morning when a call came in about a 16-year-old hiker injured in a fall.
Crews from Station 41 and 43 responded after the 9 a.m. call, and went to the area, Three Falls Trail.
“Crews were able to quickly locate the patient a little over a quarter mile up the trail,” the agency’s news release says.
The distance he fell was not disclosed.
“The patient was assessed, treated, and then extracted from the canyon. The patient was then transported by M41 to the hospital for further care.”
