SPANISH FORK CANYON, Utah County, May 8, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Utah Highway Patrol officers are on the scene of a fatal crash in Spanish Fork Canyon.
UHP Sgt. Todd Royce told Gephardt Daily that at 1:17 p.m. Tuesday, officers were alerted to a vehicle that had gone off the highway about seven miles up the canyon, at the Thistle turn.
A black pickup was found, crashed. A male had been thrown from the truck and was dead at the scene.
The accident is not impacting traffic. Royce said it is in a rocky, heavily bouldered area, which is making the investigation slow.
