NORTH SALT LAKE, Utah, Feb. 21, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — North Salt Lake police are searching for a suspect following an armed robbery early Thursday morning.
North Salt Lake police officials said in a statement a man walked into the Maverik store at 800 W. Center St. at 2:30 a.m., armed with a black handgun.
Officials said the man demanded money from the cash register, as well as the clerk’s wallet and cell phone. He was given all three and fled the area on foot.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, and was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, gray pants and brown shoes. He was also wearing a mask that covered his face, and ski googles.
