STANSBURY PARK, Utah, Sept. 27, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — The North Tooele Fire District will have an open house, with fun activities for the whole family, on Oct. 8 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Stansbury Park fire station, 179 Country Club Drive, Stansbury Park.
The open house is part of national Fire Prevention Week, Oct. 6-12, which focuses on educating the public about important actions people can take to keep themselves and those around them safe.
A news release from the NTFD says the open house will feature tours of the Stansbury Park fire station, demonstrations from firefighters, and “games, music, a bounce house, and more!”
Firefighters also will be cooking up hamburgers and hot dogs during the event, and information will be available for those who may wish to become volunteer firefighters in North Tooele County.
The NTFD open house is free and open to the public.
