OGDEN, Utah, March 8, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Ogden police have identified the 20-year-old man who died Wednesday afternoon when his motorcycle collided with an SUV in Ogden.
The victim was Keifer Deamer, of West Haven.
The accident happened at 4:12 p.m. at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Canfield Drive (1225 North).
Preliminary information released by the Ogden Police Department indicates Deamer’s motorcycle was northbound on Washington Boulevard and the SUV was traveling west, turning from Canfield onto Washington Boulevard. The SUV, driven by a 73-year-old Ogden man, struck the motorcycle.
The SUV driver was not injured. Deamer, who had been wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
