FARMINGTON, Utah, April 30, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A man is in the Davis County Jail after trying to solicit sex with someone he thought was a 14-year-old girl.
Daniel Rafael Pelayo, 21, sent pornographic photos over the Internet to a person who was actually an undercover officer posing a female minor. The exchange continued between April 13 and 19.
Authorities say Pelayo tried to arrange a meeting, intending to have sex. He was arrested at 9:12 p.m. April 26 when he arrived at the arranged location, in Farmington.
Pelayo was arrested on one count of enticing or luring a minor by Internet and three counts of dealing in material harmful to a minor.
