SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Nov. 5, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews are on the scene of a large water main break in the Avenues Monday afternoon.
Salt Lake City Fire Department tweeted at 1:50 p.m. the break is at Third Avenue and approximately 150 East, which is just west of A Street.
There are no evacuations in place as a result of the water main break and no one has been injured.
A follow-up tweet said water has been shut off in the area and the Salt Lake City public utilities department is working to fix the problem.
The Salt Lake City Police Department has blocked access from Canyon Road to A Street.
