PETALUMA, Calif., March 6 (UPI) — A group of burglars slammed a car into a gun shop Saturday, escaping the scene with “numerous” firearms, local police reported.
Police said a car with what they believe to be four males rammed into the Independence Armory, about 40 miles north of San Francisco, around 7:20 a.m.
“The vehicle defeated the business’ security and the subjects gained access inside,” police said in an incident summary. “The subjects proceeded to steal numerous firearms from the business and fled in the vehicle.” Surveillance video caught the break-in, ABC News reported.
Petaluma Police are asking for help from the public to identify the burglars who they say were driving a 1990s Honda Accord with a white or primer-painted driver’s side door.
