SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Dec. 25, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — If you’re one of those who had been dreaming of a White Christmas, your wish has come true.
Another winter storm dumped significant snowfall across much of the state overnight, and snow showers are expected to continue until late afternoon Christmas day.
According to the National Weather Service, accumulations in most Utah valleys will average 1 to 4 inches, with heavier snowfall expected in the bench areas.
Areas north of Weber County will be the exception, where snowfall is predicted to be significantly lower.
Christmas Day travelers should be prepared for hazardous driving conditions in both the valleys and the higher elevations as snowfall lingers into the afternoon.
Another blast of cold air is expected over the weekend bringing high winds and gusting snow starting early Saturday morning.
