
MILLCREEK, Utah, Sept. 9, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Police have identified the victims in a head-on collision Saturday morning in Millcreek.
The deceased are 42-year-old Francisco Perez-Olvera and 27-year-old Summer Dudley.
Investigators on scene told Gephardt Daily the accident happened around 6:30 a.m., when a northbound passenger vehicle appears to have drifted into the southbound lanes of 700 East and collided with a Suburban SUV.
Medical personnel from the Unified Fire Authority attempted to render first aid, but both drivers died at the scene.
Lt. Brian Lohrke, of the Unified Police Department, said the official cause of the crash remains under investigation, but it does not appear drugs or alcohol were involved.
