FARMINGTON, Utah, Oct. 22, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Davis County Sheriff K-9 Kash ran from outside the agency’s office Monday night, and his fellow officers have been trying to find him ever since.
“Our corrections K-9 was outside of our facility when he suddenly took off, heading west towards the trails, and has been missing since 9 p.m.,” the DCSO statement says.
“Our deputies, along with Farmington PD, have been trying to locate him ever since.”
Kash is a year-old German shorthair pointer.
“He is very friendly, and would probably like to play fetch for a while, but he is needed back home with us,” the department statement says.
“If you are in the Farmington area, please keep your eye out for him. Please call dispatch at 801-451-4150 if you spot him. We appreciate our community’s help in getting him home safely.”
