One Less Location On Table for Prison Relocation

TOOELE, UTAH – May 26, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — The list of prospective property sites for building a new state prison is shrinking.
Wednesday, Scott Banes, president of Miller Family Real Estate, announced the company is withdrawing its Tooele property from consideration.
“We appreciate the efforts and input of many local and state leaders during the evaluation process,” Bates said. ”We are encouraged by local leaders’ stated goal to make this property a ‘crown jewel’ in their economic development efforts.”
“The Miller Family Real Estate, in addition, looks forward to continued discussions with local government leaders regarding development of its property to maximize economic benefit for the citizens of Tooele County.”
