Driving To A Heart Racing Vow
Marriage is one of the biggest steps that any relationship can take. Especially if there are children involved, because not only are you marrying your significant other, you’re promising a future to their child.
NASCAR driver Brian Scott did something that brought tears to the eyes of many on the day of his wedding. In the middle of the ceremony, after stating his vows to his soon-to-be-bride, Whitney Kay, Scott got down to the level of his soon-to-be three-year-old stepdaughter Brielle.
As he looked into her eyes and grabbed her hand, he said “Brielle, can I tell you something? I promise to always hold your hand and skip with you down the street and bring comfort to your life.” Taking a deep breath Scott continued “I vow to make you say your prayers before you eat. I promise to read you stories at night, to always tuck you in real tight. I vow to show you how a man should treat a woman in my relationship with your mother. And above all else I vow to protect you, care for you and love you forever.”
