I Really Like That: Garden Trowel

Bill had a pesky root in the ground that he just needed to get out. So he got his gardening trowel, which he bought for about $3 at a local hardware store, and started to try and dig up the root.

Now even though they tell you that you are not supposed to pry or put too much pressure on the trowel otherwise it could break, we all do it anyway. To his surprise while trying to get the root out it bent the handle of the garden trowel.

So since that one was broken Bill went and got another one, this one he got from Lowe’s and he paid a little bit more money for it. When he tried to dig up the same pesky root well… it completely broke the shovel in half

Bill tried one last time to get that root out of the ground. This time, the trowel that he used cost him $50 and was from Cutco.

Even though the trowel was unable to get the root out of the ground it was at least still around and in one piece to do the rest of your gardening necessities.

The Cutco ® Garden Trowel is a great tool. The wide scoop (3-1/4″) helps you move more dirt, and it features a semi-sharp tip that easily penetrates soil and a measurement gauge for planting depth.

The handle is made from reinforced polypropylene, covered by thermoplastic elastomer, giving it added strength so it won’t bend. The durable stainless steel is also rust resistant.

We really like this tool, and we think you will, too.
