BURBANK, Ca. – November 11, 2015 — (UPI) — Justin Bieber announced plans to go on tour soon after the release of his latest album, Purpose, during an interview airing Wednesday.
Speaking with television host Ellen DeGeneres, the “Sorry” singer revealed news of the tour, but could not recall the starting date. Luckily, graphics shown at the bottom of the screen cleared up the mystery, announcing the tour will kick off March 9.
“This was the only thing I had to remember,” Bieber joked. “What am I doing? I’m here to promote an album and a tour, and I’m not doing it.”
The 21-year-old pop star has been busy promoting his upcoming album Purpose for the last several weeks since debuting “What Do You Mean?” at the MTV Video Music Awards in August. Bieber has also opened up about his past relationship with fellow pop-star Selena Gomez.
“I just want her to be happy, honestly,” the star told DeGeneres Monday, at the start of “Bieber Week.”
