HOUSTON, Oct. 4 (UPI) — Taylor Swift has signed a new multi-year deal with AT&T that will welcome future performances and content.
“We’re thrilled to reach a deal to bring Taylor and her unique talents to her fans and our customers in new and exclusive ways,” CEO, AT&T entertainment group John Stankey said in a statement about the signing.
Part of the deal includes Swift headlining the 12th annual AT&T DIRECTV Super Night in Houston, a concert that takes place Feb. 4 in honor of Super Bowl LI which commences the day after.
“And we’ve thrilled attendees during the Big Game weekend for the last 11 years with A-list parties and the hottest performing music artists around, so 2017 will be our very best. We’re excited to get event tickets into the hands of Taylor’s fans and exclusive content from the event to our customers and celebrate the combination of one of the world’s biggest artists with one of the world’s biggest sporting events,” Stankey continued.
More details concerning the deal and how they will utilize Swift will be revealed “in the near future” AT&T explained.
Swift commented on the deal on Twitter by responding to AT&T who welcomed the pop star to their team. “Thanks @ATT, this is gonna be fun,” she wrote alongside a photo of a number 13 AT&T football jersey.
