TOOELE COUNTY, Utah, Sept. 12, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews from Tooele and Unified fire departments were on the scene of two wildfires in the area of Lakepoint Junction late Tuesday.
The dual blazes, about a mile apart along Interstate 80, were first reported a little after 8 p.m. and by 9 p.m. had already consumed 15-20 acres each.
Early Wednesday morning, Northern Utah Interagency Fire Center indicated that the fire had spread across 120 acres.
