ST. GEORGE, Utah, April 27, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Friends have posted a new round of photos of Tyler Craig Irvine as the search for him reached one month.

“Please continue to share and help keep an eye out,” family friend Smith Reachel said Thursday night on the Washington County Community Watch page on Facebook. “He’s been missing a month now.”

Irvine, 37, stands about 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. He has short brown hair and blue-green eyes. He drives a dark blue 2012 Chevrolet Cruze. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and black jeans. Anyone with information is asked to call the St. George Police Department at 435-627-4300, reference case number 24P008223.

Irvine went missing March 28 from St. George, his mother Jolene Irvine posting the news on her Facebook page March 31.

“Please help in any way you can by sharing this,” she asked. “My son Tyler Irvine has been missing for 72 hours. He left with no money, just the clothes he was wearing, hasn’t used his cell phone or debit card since leaving. We are very concerned and want him home safe.”

The next day, St. George police issued a missing person notice online. By April 5 the family was offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to his whereabouts.

By April 10 a family member shared on Facebook the efforts underway in the search.

“Today is day 14, we are still holding on to any hope that he is out there and safe. Anything is possible at this point, we are just asking for everyone’s help to keep an eye out for him and his car. The area is vast and there are just so many places he could be.

“The community has been so amazing in coming together to help us find him, so many resources were donated to us, several pilots that are local went up in their private planes, searching for him for almost 10 days, another gentleman donated his pilot and helicopter to search last weekend, groups of people on horseback also searched for him on the ground.”

Many groups of off-roaders with side-by-sides have been out searching for the last two weeks, Sierra Chidester said. A local rental company contributed an off-road vehicle one weekend. Local hikers have been watching the trails, other community members have been passing out flyers.

“Please continue to pray that he is safe and returns to us and continue to be on the lookout and spread the word that we are looking for him.”
