SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – September 18, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Salt Lake City Police say a man is in critical condition after being hit by a van early Friday morning near 350 West 400 South.
Witnesses told investigators the man was walking across the street mid-block around 6 a.m. when he was hit by a white Ford transit van.
The injured pedestrian was conscious when paramedics arrived, but police say he appeared to suffer serious trauma.
The injured man’s identity has yet to be released.
Investigators say it’s unclear if the driver of the van will be cited.
