SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, March 21, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A 40-year-old man is dead after officers received a report of a fight in Upper Avenues area of Salt Lake City in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Officers found a male, Cory Haney, 40, deceased, after responding to an address in the area of 797 E. Northcliffe Drive just after 1:15 a.m., the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release.
“Officers responded to the address on a report of a fight,” the news release said. “A suspect was still on scene and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.”
Officials said more details will be released as the investigation continues.
