WEBER CANYON, Utah, June 7, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Emergency crews responded to a motorcycle crash on Trappers Loop Friday.

A medical helicopter transported the rider to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, the Mountain Green Fire Protection District said Friday night.

The Morgan County Fire Department assisted on the call.

No other information was immediately available, but Mountain Green said the incident capped off an event-filled week.

“It’s been quite a week for your volunteer and paid firefighters in Mountain Green. We started off the week on Monday with a slew of fire alarms at the Middle School, where the alarms were set off because maintenance was being performed.”

Other events included an alarm for a faulty carbon monoxide leak, and a psychedelic mushrooms overdose.

Thursday was highlighted by a report of a structure fire “which turned out to be a complete fabrication by a little girl who described a fire in detail when there was in fact no fire at all.” Officials had a long talk with her, describing the seriousness of potentially pulling fire units away from a true emergency.

“All parents please note, with school being out, kids get bored and do dumb things.”
