MILLARD COUNTY, Utah, July 27, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — A new wildfire sparked Saturday morning in Millard County.
The Baker Canyon 2 Fire is believed to have started at about 10 a.m. Estimated at “5 acres and growing,” the fire is eight miles north of Cove Fort, and a mile east of Interstate 15, a statement from Utah Fire info says.
“Burning in grass & brush, several engines & air resources are on scene,” the statement says.
