SAN JUAN COUNTY, Utah, Dec. 7, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office has issued a Silver Alert for a missing 77-year-old woman.
According to the SJCSO, Alma Jean Sutherland was last seen outside her Monument Valley area home at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024.
She is described as 5′ 3″ inches tall, 100 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a maroon jacket, purple shirt, and blue jeans and black boots at the time she disappeared.
Authorities say Sutherland has dementia, and is “known to hitchhike to Cedar City or to Kayenta in Arizona.
