CITRA, Fla., Nov. 16 (UPI) — Two CSX trains collided and overturned in Northern Florida early Wednesday morning, resulting in a fuel leak of up to 15,000 gallons, according to officials.
No injuries were reported in the head-on collision that occurred around 4:15 a.m. in Marion County, Fla., about an hour and a half north of Orlando.
Marion County Fire Rescue said two men on one train were evaluated by first responders, but refused medical treatment.
Police are urging locals to avoid the area as part of the train is blocking a roadway in Citra, near Ocala.
Marion County officials and CSX are investigating the incident.
