SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Aug. 9, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Just 60 days ahead of the official puck drop on the Utah Hockey Club‘s inaugural season, the team has unveiled its official logo for the 2024-25 NHL campaign.

The light blue, black and white logo features a shield-like design with mountains at the top.

The relocated Arizona Coyotes franchise has been rebranded as the Utah Hockey Club for the 2024-25 season, with a new team name and mascot expected in 2025-26.

That said, Utah Hockey Club, or Utah HC, is one of six remaining options announced in June from fan voting to select the team’s name beyond this season. The other options are:

  • Utah Blizzard
  • Utah Mammoth
  • Utah Outlaws
  • Utah Venom
  • Utah Yeti

The NHL Board of Governors approved the Coyotes’ sale to Smith Entertainment Group owners Ryan and Ashley Smith on April 18.

The Utah Hockey Club opens the season Oct. 8 against the Chicago Blackhawks at the Delta Center. Single-game tickets are available here.
