LOS ANGELES, Sept. 17 (UPI) — Milla Jovovich‘s stunt double, Olivia Jackson, was severely injured on the Resident Evil: The Final Chapter set on Sept. 5.

The 39-year-old actress revealed the news this week on social media, asking fans to pray for Jackson’s recovery. The Sun reports Jackson wasn’t wearing protective gear when she collided with a camera crane during a motorcycle scene.

“The cast and crew of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter have been totally devastated and are waiting with bated breath for news on her recovery,” Jovovich wrote. “We now understand she is stable and being carefully monitored by very experienced South African doctors.”

“It’s a miracle she survived,” she shared. “I would really appreciate it if you would take a moment out of your busy days ahead and pray for Olivia’s full recovery too. She needs all the help she can get right now and every bit of the good energy we can send.”

The actress, Jackson and the cast and crew were filming in Johannesburg, South Africa. Jackson suffered head injuries and a punctured lung in the collision, and her husband, David Grant, said in a Facebook post his wife has been “fighting hard” to get better.

Jovovich’s husband, Paul W.S. Anderson, is directing the movie, which opens in theaters Jan. 27, 2017. The couple have collaborated on five previous Resident EvilĀ films, with The Final Chapter to serve as the franchise’s final installment.
