LEHI, Utah, Sept. 27, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — An Alpine man struck by a tractor-trailer on Timpanogos Highway in Lehi Monday has died, officials said.
Lehi Police Department officials said Craig Denney, 68, was riding a bicycle when he was hit at approximately 1 p.m. Monday by a tractor-trailer that was traveling near the Interstate 15 and Timpanogos Highway interchange.
Denney was transported to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray in critical condition. He passed away Thursday morning.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. It does not appear that either Denney or the tractor-trailer driver was impaired.
Officials have not released further details of the crash.
