WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Feb. 7. 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — The West Valley Fire Department responded to the scene and quickly put out the fire, which homeowners had controlled by throwing flour on the blaze, said Don Rael of the WVCFD.

Misineti Lavekihelothi, 30, was booked for arson.

The West Valley City Police Department also arrived at the scene, at 3236 W. 3200 South. A description of the suspect was given and while checking the area a WVCPD Sergeant located the suspect. He was identified by witnesses at the residence.

Police said it appears the arson was in retaliation for an earlier incident.
