WEST HAVEN, Utah, June 16, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A fire Thursday evening consumed a trailer parked at a West Haven campground.
Firefighting units responded from the Weber Fire District and Ogden and Roy fire departments, and found a small trailer almost fully engulfed at the Century Campground, 1399 W. 2100 South.
“The resident had evacuated, and the fire units were quickly able to get the fire under control,” a post by the Weber Fire District says.
“The trailer was a total loss, and a neighboring mobile home had some heat and smoke damage.
“Following an investigation, the cause was determined to be accidental while cooking.”
