IRON COUNTY, Utah, Aug. 24, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — The Iron Peak Fire, reported Wednesday afternoon near Little Creek Road in Iron County, is 20% contained, according to Utah Fire Info.
Originally estimated at 400 acres, the fire has been estimated at 694 acres since Thursday.
Limited road access has made fighting the fire difficult.
Resources currently on scene include two crews, with five engines, one dozer and 10 jumpers.
