WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Oct. 22, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — One man is in critical condition after a motorcycle accident in West Valley City Saturday evening.
Unified Police Department Det. Ken Hansen told Gephardt Daily the incident happened at approximately 10:30 p.m. at 5470 S. 5600 West.
The 55-year-old driver lost control of his motorcycle for an unknown reason, and was not wearing a helmet, Hansen said. No other vehicles were involved.
Details of the incident are still emerging and investigators are working to find out if there were any contributing factors to the crash such as speed or impairment.
